New Community Outreach to help the unemployed in Shreveport-Bossier, LA
Friday, Dec 30, 2011 12:00am

Support Help Us Help the Hurting

With the economic downturn and resulting unemployment, families are suffering from financial hardship and at higher risk for divorce, addictions and depression more than ever before.

This Community Outreach is designed specifically to help families impacted by unemployment or financial hardship who are struggling and in desperate need of professional counseling.  Help Us Help The Hurting will allow us to help more people, mend more marriages, and keep families intact.

While we help as many as we can, the needs in the community are greater than we can possibly meet on our own.  There is so much more that needs to be done.

Through Help Us Help The Hurting, funded by matching funds, through generous grants and contributions, we WOULD be able to help more people, to keep marriages together, to keep families intact.  We could help husbands and wives, instead of fighting about money, to get the help they need with counseling at no cost to them.

For this Community Outreach to be successful we must increase community awareness and support, allowing our ministry to rise to meet the tremendous needs.  Although we’ve just begun to share with the community about Help us Help The Hurting, we’ve already had a very positive response.  When those who have a heart for this ministry understand the great need and how God has used us to help those who are hurting and searching for answers, they respond.

This Community Outreach is about one thing: impacting our region by helping those who are hurting with Christian Counseling.  Christian Counseling works.  We need your help spreading the word and giving

You may still make a tax deductible donation before the end of 2011 to help those who are unemployed and deparately in need to of professional counseling.

“I’ve personally seen the positive effects that Healing Heart Counseling Center has made on individuals, and look forward to even more success stories as a result of the Help Us Help The Hurting initiative.”

-Terry McKnaight, Automated Business Concepts
